Software development solutions, scoped to an outcome

Five engagements, each defined by what has to exist at the end of it rather than by an hourly rate. Centricone Technologies builds them for companies in eCommerce, healthcare, finance, and telecom across the US and Canada.

How it works

An engagement is a shape, not a rate card

The services page lists what we can do. This page lists the ways you can buy it. Same engineers either way — the difference is where the scope comes from.

Scoped to an outcome

An engagement is defined by what has to exist at the end of it — a product in front of users, a platform carrying customers, a system that stays up. Not a number of hours.

One team across the whole thing

Each engagement pulls from whichever services it needs. You are not buying eight capabilities separately and integrating them yourself.

Working software every sprint

Something you can click through from the second week, so scope conversations happen against a running build rather than a document.

Frequently asked questions

Not sure which engagement fits? Describe the outcome and we’ll tell you which one it is.

A service is a capability — cloud engineering, database management, cybersecurity. A solution is a packaged engagement built out of those capabilities toward a named outcome, like getting an MVP in front of users or taking over a system that is already live. Most people arrive knowing one or the other, so both routes exist.
Frequently. An MVP build followed by maintenance and support is the most common sequence, and cloud and DevOps often runs alongside a SaaS platform build rather than after it. The engagements are how work is scoped, not walls between teams.
Against a written scope, with a sequence and a range, after a discovery call. Both the call and the estimate are free, and the estimate is yours whether or not you build with us. We do not quote a number before we understand what is being built.
You do, from the first commit. The repository is in your name and the cloud accounts are yours. There is no license to buy back and nothing that stops another team picking the work up after us.
That is what the maintenance and support engagement is for. It begins with a short audit of the code, infrastructure, and deployment path, then an honest read on whether to continue as-is, refactor in place, or replace it a piece at a time.
